Show Recap:
One of the most frustrating shows the guys had played yet.  The show and the songs themselves were received well, but the circumstances surrounding the gig were fraught with frustration.  After a tire blew out on the band trailer en route to the show, Drew's amp footswitch failed on "Friction."  Come to find out, two of Ben's guitar pedals failed on the last two songs.  What a way to welcome Brian back into the fold!  The guys soldiered on though, with 15% of the proceeds at Quaker Steak going to the Heroes Relief, Inc. fund, to assist soldiers from abroad coming home and re-integrating into civilian life.  A worthy cause indeed.  Another classic rock medley was played and went over swimmingly.  To honor any vets and current enlisted in the crowd, the guys played "Rooster," by Alice In Chains.  "Days Go By" had the customary "As I Am" interlude and "Forget" rounded out the set with the verse theme of Dream Theater's "Pull Me Under."  A great time was still had by all, despite the mechanical madness!
