Show Recap:
FTF were stoked to find out that the youth at First United Methodist Church could really rock! After three or four songs into the set there actually was a bit of a mosh pit going on... this set was loose and fun, as the guys found themselves up-close and personal with the audience. Drew and Ben took opportunites to jump out into the crowd and do some headbanging! The entire set was peppered with welcoming interruptions for "prize-giveaways," and after "Inject Me," there was a brief intermission as new FTF friend Angelo shared his heart and his testimony. It was a very real, honest portrayal of how Jesus Christ brought him out of a life filled with drugs, guns, fear and darkness. An impromptu praise and worship session started, with the band playing an old favorite, "Awesome Is The Sight." The altars were opened up and there was a good amount of ministering going on. Afterwards, the guys segued into another of their favorites, "Days Go By." "Never Fade Away" took the final position, with the now-staple "Fade To Black" tag rounding out the set. This show is also notable in that a Phil Wickham song was played; "In Your City," and was the first "cover" to be chosen by Derek Fair.
