It's Official... WE WON THE GRAND PRIZE! We're blown away and humbled by your overwhelming response and support. You have made FTF the headliners of the 2010 Rock Solid Pressure Industry Showcase. Which we hope those in the St.Pete/Tampa area will come out to later this year. Thank You ALL! We'll have a gift for all you crazy voters in about a month. The FIRE is spreading... and this is just the beginning!

This will be the first major headlining show for THE STAND and with your help, the first of many. After opening for such bands as Sick Puppies, Hurt, Adelitas Way, Cage and even booking a gig with RATT, the powers that be has finally offered us an opportunity to showcase ourselves at the most renown venue a local band can aspire to play; the State Theatre.

We will be playing with some of the most popular bands in the area on the 6th. The most notable of which is The Dood, who is arguably the most popular band of the Sarasota area. The Distinguished Order Of Disobedience has been melting faces and turning heads since 2006. Since the release of their latest EP, The Dood has been playing all over Florida promoting it. They have had the opportunity to play with such bands as Neurotica, Crossbreed and Cold so they are no strangers to the stage.

State Theatre Update: Just finally got in and am starting to unwind... what a great night. Thanks so much to The Stand for inviting us out! Also, very mucho thanks for all our friends - "the firestarters" - who came out to State Theatre to help us tear the roof off the place! ;-) You guys are the ones who make what we do WORTH IT!! YOU GUYS truly are From This Fire!!

We were very much surprised this weekend when we heard FTF played on WTXB 98Rock, here in Tampa!! Description: This is a Benefit show for J-Rock who is an unsung hero in the Tampa Bay music scene who has dedicated his life's work to helping unknown bands rise to success. J-Rock is now battling shingles and is in need of financial relief from his skyrocketing medical bills.
